Perimenopause Nutrition and Yoga Day
Early bird discount only available until 16th April
Reconnect with your body and support your changing hormones
This day is an opportunity to pause, reconnect with your body and learn how to support yourself through the changes of perimenopause.
Through a combination of yoga, nutrition and practical lifestyle guidance, we will explore simple ways to regulate the nervous system, restore energy, and support your body during this stage of life.
The day also includes a nourishing vegetarian lunch, refreshments and a goodie bag of carefully chosen wellbeing products to take home.
Your hosts
I will be hosting the day together with yoga instructor Gemma Bain (Move Well Breathe Better), guiding you through a nourishing and supportive experience combining evidence-based nutrition and yoga.
I have worked with hundreds of women going through perimenopause, and I am also experiencing this stage of life myself. I understand both professionally and personally how confusing and unpredictable this transition can feel.
Over the years I have spent a great deal of time researching what we currently understand about perimenopause, what is happening in the body during this time and, importantly, what we can do to support ourselves through these changes.
During the day I will share clear and practical information about what is happening hormonally during perimenopause and the simple nutrition and lifestyle strategies that can make a real difference to how we feel. There will also be space to ask questions, share experiences and connect with other women going through the same stage of life.
About Gemma
Gemma is a certified yoga teacher with many years of personal experience and gained her 200 hours yoga instructor certification (Yoga Alliance Professionals) in 2021. She has since been teaching yoga in the community and is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with women particularly during perimenopause where hormonal shifts can feel overwhelming.
Gemma's approach focuses on reconnecting with the body, encouraging a compassionate relationship with ourselves and building strength, balance and calm.
Gemma will guide two yoga practices during the day, a combination of mindful movement and breathing exercises to focus on reconnecting with your body and to regulate the nervous system and stimulate the brain.
